In our 59th podcast, we look at some of the most common gaps that crisis management teams face when preparing themselves and their organizations. 2018 was another year of large disasters from the wildfires in California, the large earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia that led to over 2000 known deaths. We had hurricane Michael that made landfall in Florida in October. 2018 also saw a record number of massive cyber-breaches with the biggest one being the hotel giant Starwood recently acquired by Marriott. Other notable ones include Facebook, Panera bread and a company in India call Aadhaar who had 1.1 billion records breached.
